Typical pipe & tobacco shop. Been going here for years now. Some nice local glass artists sell work here so it's nice to stop in and browse their selection from time to time. They stock a nice selection of everything a daily smoker may need or want.

They are the only game in town,and w/the idiots in the senate infringing and over taxing what consenting adults choose to do in their leisure time I think the prices are decent here. Sign a petition not to ban synthetic nicotine by texting VAPE TO 40649, or google C.A.S.A.A. and tell your friends who vape! This concludes my rant 🙃 thanks for your patience lol.

ridiculous prices, $39.70 for two vapes that didnt even last two days a piece. Its childish at this point Jim. (owner) Anyone else can go to the four corners deli in castleton and get a 4500 puff vape for $20 while the emporium charges $40 A PIECE for a fake vape from DHgate that is only 3300 hits if you are lucky. do not buy from this store please. sincerely a employee who watched this begin at this garbage of a store....

They are always helpful with any questions and really know the thing they sell we couldn't figure the right measurements on a bong that we have showed a picture and they knew right off clean place and friendly staff members

I agree with most of what other reviewers have posted. First of all I said hi to the employee and she didn't say hi back. Prices are twice or so of online shops. Especially the vape juice. The worst complaint is that they don't do returns even if the next day with receipt unopened product. All other online shops will stand behind their products. Why don't they? Will only go back in if I need batteries.

I’ve been a customer here for years, and whenever I go in the people working are really nice and helpful. Recently I bought a new Vape Mod and within a week of purchase it started sparking, smoking and my batteries are now unusable and the mod itself has melted the terminals inside.
You would think that having JUST purchased it they would consider doing a trade because I spent almost $100 on this alone and I don’t know how I would have broken or misused this product after having the habit for almost 5 years.
I get that the store policy is ultimately decided by the owner or manager but I kind of feel really screwed out of $100. Very nonchalant “no returns or trades, store policy” and I don’t think I’ll ever be back. Now I have no way to smoke unless I buy a new mod and wait for what a month from the manufacturer? This left a nasty taste in my mouth, and I really can’t believe how they treated me. Be wary or just go to another sho

tl:dr; Definitely go here for functional and affordable glass. If you're looking for highend heady glass, this is not the place to go.
Just a heads up, as of today 6/28/21, they continue to require masks in store.
I'd say the Emporium has the largest selection in Rutland County - especially if you're looking for regular glass pipes, tobacco, CBD, or vape stuff. The quality of their glass pipes are decent, better than their water pipe collection. They have a fairly extensive CBD display and a large section of their store dedicated to vapes. Their vape juice is a little pricey, but that's the cost you pay for the convenience of brick-and-mortar.
I've always had positive experiences with the staff being helpful, kind, and patient with drawn-out decisions.

Best shop around!!! Best prices, and a great variety of the best products. Amanda, Lisa, Cody and Jordan are amazing!! They are helpful and extremely knowledgeable. They take great care of their customers. They are not just out to sell, they truly care and want you to have a great experience and to love your purchase. Wouldn't ever shop anywhere else!!!
