Yesterday my boyfriend and I visited for our first time, we were looking to buy Juul packs (creme, cucumber, etc) available only on smoke/vape shops. We got there at 6:45p and looked around the store. After 2 minutes, we found what we wanted: cucumber Juul pods. So we wait a little while longer for any assistance. We called out. We glanced in the back since the door was open. We called out louder. No one was in the building. My boyfriend looked through the windows around the building and we see one couple in a car making out, but no one outside vaping or smoking who might've just been on break while it was dead.

10 minutes go by (we had somewhere to be at 7 so I was keeping track of time). As we're waiting and we look around, we notice all the product. And then my boyfriend points out multiple keys in the locks of the glass cases, one of which was open and had all CBD product available. I'm dumbfounded. No employees for almost 15 minutes now, and keys at the ready with some very expensive product available for anyone to grab? So dumb and careless on so many accounts.

Well, that's when an older gentleman walks in. I'm hoping he works here. As he gets through the doors, my boyfriend and I are there to greet him with his announcement that it's his first time in and he thought he'd take a look around. We announced we didn't work there and had been waiting for help. So now there's 3 customers and no employees for at least 15 minutes.

BF goes over to look out the window, the couple is still going at it and there's no vapers/smokers in sight. We all joke about the couple and hope we don't have to wait for much longer, the bf and I were now late for our plans when we should've just been able to get in and get out with our purchase. I then go and look out different windows and then see the couple - they've stopped. I turn around to the bf as he tells me to look and motions. The gal from the car was booking it inside. She was the missing employee, hallelujah, we can purchase pods and leave.

We both ask for 2 packs of pods (fellow smokers, Juul REALLY does fulfill the need that cigarettes have) and the total comes out to $43 and some change per person. Ouch. $20 for each pack. Normally the Shell gas station where we get tobacco pods is $13-16. But whatever, we found a flavor that's been hard to find. The girl apologizes about her absence and we get on our way.

Now, for full disclosure, I ended up finding an article this past week from the New York Post where a journalist (Juul user) has researched the color differences in pods. Turns out China is at it again and is making counterfeit pods and whole selling them to US shops.

Well, I open up the pack, shove a pod in, and try it out. Yeah, it's cucumber... But it tastes funny to me. It's also making me a little nauseous. My boyfriend tries it, yeah.. it has a lot more vape than what Juul pods typically produce. We look at the pack and there's no ID number which is ALWAYS on Juul packs. So this means we just spent over $43 per person on jacked up rates of Chinese product that we don't actually know what's in them since regulations are so poor. Great....

People, I know this is a newer shop and so dead times happen, but if you're wanting to buy product that actually IS made in the U.S (which they advertise heavily here), and want to quickly pick up product you know you like, I'd highly recommend going elsewhere. Don't get gouged on price after having to wait almost 20 min for a simple purchase. Not worth it at all.
