Didn't realize that it was 10 mins till 11pm (on a Friday nt, to boot). Made it there with 5 mins to spare and ran in to grab my "go to" 1836 Texas Red. Greeted by a polite young man, named Elijah, only to learn that he had just closed out the register. Before I could even get a word out (I was upset-with myself for not paying attn to the time), Elijah picked up on my vibe, told me that it was no problem at all, took the time to re-open the register and happily assisted me with my purchase. Elijah was knowledgeable on the product and made sure to ask if there was anything else he could do for me. He treated me with respect, and not like the inconsiderate dummy I actually was, for coming in at closing on a Friday night. The last thing I like to do is keep an employee past closing time, but Elijah was more than happy to help me out. Being 52 yrs old, my experience with Elijah was a good reminder that the stereotype of Gen Z's "lazy work ethic" is a bunch of B.S. Price, and product brand avail. is why I shop w/Mary Jane's. I am now sold on the caliber of employees they hire. Thank you, once again, Elijah! You're an asset to your employer, and you should be proud of that! I'll definitely be back soon!👍
