Well my experience was not a good one at this shop. Just to be clear, my review is based solely on their selection of dry herb vaporizers and not the other pieces they sell. I had gone looking for a dry herb vaporizer and unfortunately went to 540 Smoke & Vape to fulfill my needs. Upon walking in, I was greeted by Sam who was a very nice person, but he still sold me some questionable products, to say the least. I told him I was looking to buy a dry vaporizer and he showed me 2 different models - the Snoop Dogg G Pro 2.0 and the Yocan Evolve D. He explained they were both smooth hitting and even heated up the "Snoop Dogg G Pro 2.0" to show how it worked.
I tried Googling the Snoop Dogg G Pro 2.0 on my phone and could not find any info online at the time which I thought was strange. I even went to Grenco Sciences website, the supposed maker of the G Pro 2.0, to try and find information but could find none. I decided to buy both the G Pro and Evolve D just to see which I liked better. I also bought some CBD oil (not sure if it's legit or not, haven't tried yet) because I'd been wanting to try some for inflammation and anxiety.
Once I finally got home, I did some research and soon discovered why I couldn't find any info on the Snoop Dogg G Pro 2.0 - it's nothing more than a rebranded Hebe Titan 2 that was made to sell in Brazil. The Hebe Titan 2 can be purchased anywhere online for $20, double what I paid in store, but the numerous reviews I've read suggest to buy only if you like ingesting plastic fumes into your lungs and scorching the hell out of your throat. It is not a true vaporizer at all but rather uses combustion to heat the herb, which then travels through a plastic mouthpiece and makes for a wonderful combination of plastic fumes and smoke. Luckily, I read this before trying it. I never took the Snoop Dogg G Pro 2.0 out of the box and it now sits at the bottom of my trash can.
The Evolve D is pretty much the same except it isn't made of plastic. It's nothing more than your typical e cig with coils that heat and combust your herb, which once again results in a wonderfully rough throat hit that will leave you coughing for hours and not in a good way. So, once again, I decided to save my lungs and discard it as well. To be fair, I should've done my research before going in and buying something I was not completely knowledgeable about. Luckily, I'm only out $80 (the place didn't strike me as having a return policy) though that $80 could've been used to buy a "real" vaporizer. Lesson learned.
