Came from Austin to visit my family and stopped in to pick up a new vape after mine got tossed accidentally. Didn't have to wait for help and got exactly what I needed in less than ten minutes.

Rude Staff Unprofessional Behavior Inconsistent ID Policy

(More added to the story)**
Out of the 100's of times my friends have been here, they recently decided to ID us. Some only had Tech ID's, some had driver's license, and I had no ID. So this female worker already with a horrible attitude tells me, "I'm going to have to ask you to leave."
Understandably, I left and sat in the car while my friends went in. I noticed a man with 2 kids under the age of 4, and they let them all in. How is an obvious 18 year old kicked out, but toddlers are let in?
Rude staff, and especially the female staff.

** So I figured I would never have to deal with this situation again until the lady who ID'ed us decided to go out of her way to contact and stalk me on Facebook. Not only is this extremely unprofessional, but very creepy. So here's a copy of her message:

Hey I just read your review on me and I want you to know none of what you said was true. I am a good person and I am just doing my job. I'm sorry I asked you to show proof of identification but hats the law. We have several employees and so you may be asked more than one to show an Id. I think that you you know it's the law to have proof of age to enter this type of establishment you would be prepared to show 0ne upon entering. I had to ask you twice if you had one. I wasn't rude I was just asking. You were just mad because you had to t leave the store. I was 8n no way rude to you. I don't think it was very nice that you posted the review you did. It you know me on a personal level you would know I'm not rude at all. I do work another job and deal with alot of tech sorority women and they love me and I'm them. Please think before you go arpund trying to ruin people's lives because they were doing their job and asked you to leave when in all reality if you had had an I'd all would have been fine. Your welcome back anytime and we'd love to have you at our shop I'm just doing what my boss and the law is asking of me. If you would like to speak with me about this feel free to send me a message back. There's no reason to be ugly. I just want you to understand where I'm coming from thank you

I was not mad that I had to leave the store, I understand the law. The point is that you kicked me out, but yet let in my friend who didn't have an ID on him. I don't know if you noticed him or not, but it wasn't fair. On top of that, two children under the age of at least 4 or 5 came in with their father. Not quite sure how that's even fair, but whatever. On top of this insanely unprofessional conversation, I am not a "tech sorority woman," so please don't get that mistaken.
I have no need to come back to your store as I do not vape, I only came with my friends. And quite frankly, this is EXTREMELY unprofessional. Guess what? Not everyone you work for is going to like you. This is reality and life. The fact that you went out of your way to find me and contact me not only is super creepy, but shows signs of insecurity. I don't care if my review offended you, a review is a review, positive or negative. I'm sorry that a few hundred words has affected you enough to stalk me and contact me, but please know for the sake of Green Gorilla, try not to act this unprofessional.

How this is okay, I will never know. But oh well, never going here again FOR SURE.

Poor customer service Wrong product No response from owner

These people suck... you get passed over multiple times because they are too busy talking about their personal life what they are gonna do tonight and so on.. then when they do get to you they give you the wrong thing/color of vape you want, so you go back the next day to return and they tell you no.. I asked the manager Braxton to have the owner Chandler call me so i can explain this was his employess fault, and i still havent heard back from the owner.. I DIDN'T WANT TO GIVE IT ANY STARS BUT YOU HAVE TO IN ORDER TO POST... TOTAL THUMBS DOWN

I heard about your situation and we were more than willing to help. Unfortunately despite receiving the wrong color, you proceeded to use the device and then try to return it. Regardless of fault, once the item is used we can't take it back or exchange it because you don't like the color. Mistakes happen and I'm sorry we were unable to resolve the issue.

MY RESPONSE TO OWNERS REPLY BECAUSE APPARENTLY IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE BUSINESS THIS IS THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN COMMUNICATE WITH OWNER.. LIKE I SAID IN MY ORIGINAL REVIEW-- I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM OWNER:

Edit: I went back to get a new vape thingy and the guy who helped me was amazing. Much better then the last time I went there.

Tried to tell me I needed a new mod because my tank was lose. Staff didnt even take tank off and look. My husband took tank off, tightened 2 screws and put tank on and problem solved. Nice try on trying to make a fast buck!!

Overpriced Elitist Atmosphere Hit and Miss Juice Better to Order Online

Much like all vape shops in town, Green Gorilla tries to set a tone that vaping is for the elite. Thus, it's overpriced (not the highest in town) and be ready to be looked down upon if you aren't current with the new and latest vape intel, or if you're not vaping what the cool kids are vaping that day, you're in the wrong. They have a semi-large collection of mods, tanks, kits, and the like, but nothing crazy. Their juice is hit and miss. Overall, your best bet would be to order your stuff online where it's a whole lot cheaper and your less likely to be judged.
