Hippie House Smoke, Vape & Gift Shop

I do enjoy what they sell, they are honest about their products, and they have plenty of options. but, I think it’s important for trans people to know that this is NOT a trans-friendly place. I am a trans man & I get misgendered by a different employee every time I go (or even multiple employees) despite me frequenting there and correcting them. I also get called “honey,” “sweetie,” etc by the dudes there and it feels so degrading because they don’t call other men those things. I’m aware I’m in Canton and I’m aware my body is curvy aka more feminine in some people’s eyes, but that doesn’t make me any less deserving of the respect others get. I don’t need to be called man, dude, bro, buddy, etc, but I also don’t need to be called lady, honey, girl, miss, ma’am, and all of the other things I’ve been called there. I also don’t need to be looked at like I’m the most insane person ever when I correct an employee. I deal with that situation enough working in the service industry. I want to say I know there are a few employees who I KNOW understand because they use gender neutral terms, or no gender terms at all, and they make me feel safe when I see them. Thank you to those few. So,,,,,,, it’s a good smoke shop with good product, but if you’re trans, please prepare yourself <3

I visit Hippie House all the time. I'm thoroughly impressed with the wide variety of products available. From high-quality glassware to an extensive selection of smoking accessories, this shop truly has it all. What really sets this place apart, however, is their incredible collection of alternative smoking blends. I was amazed by the range of options available, and I have to say, if you can't find an alt-noid in this place, then you probably won't find it anywhere. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and they were more than happy to answer any questions I had about their products. I felt welcomed and at ease the moment I walked in, and I left feeling satisfied with my purchase and eager to return. Overall, I highly recommend Hippie House to anyone looking for a fantastic selection of smoking products and accessories. The alt-noid collection alone is worth a visit, and the friendly and knowledgeable staff make the experience even better. Don't hesitate to stop by and see what they have to offer - you won't be disappointed!

Over priced garbage products. Bought a recommended Bogo cart deal, 2 carts in one package. The second one was defective. Called to see if they would do anything. The woman on the phone told me the owner doesn't replace carts. Yes I did leave a 5 star review for Quonset hut when they did what you refused to do and helped solve the issue. Investigate away 🤔 Btw I still have the defective cart, packaging and all, as well as the mastercard gift card used to purchase, as well as the call log from when I called the store. I dropped almost $50 on some lame galaxy treats to be told by your employees there was nothing that can be done for me and then you jumped down my throat because I left my honest feedback. You accused me of slander and hate speech. It is fair to claim the product I received was garbage because in fact, it was. It is literally leaking out of the bottom. I will happily continue to give my time, money, and business to your competitor that you so eagerly accused me of conspiring with. It is not inaccurate. Just because you're trying to make ammends now, does not change what happened or how your stores actions made me feel. I bought a defective cart. Your employee told me tough cookies basically. Try as you might, you cannot rewrite history. This is my ACCURATE experience. The broken cart is my desk drawer more than solidifies that. You "support other shops" but still have your initial accusation of being affiliated with Quonset Hut in your review. Seems awfully contradictory. Plus not to mention I have a screenshoy of your original reply where you accused their managers of putting me up to it. Super supportive 🤭👍

Amazing shop. Way better vibes than Quonset Hut. Staff is knowledgeable and welcoming. Merch selection is epic.

The gentleman behind the counter was very informative and knew every item detail and made some much guided and needed suggestions.

They have the biggest selection of enjoyables I've ever seen in a store and it's not just for smokers there's a lot of really cool niche things there too and not just trying to make a buck Cherise ( I hope I got that name right ) was very knowledgeable and showed me what I was doing wrong with my disposal and was even willing to replace it if it didn't work top notch you guys got a lifelong customer

Great place. Ask for Trevor, he has information about everything in the store: jewelery, healing stone, candies, baked goods, beautiful glass work, delta 8, CBD, you name it they've got.

Was up the road at the shop that used to be in this building. Still not impressed. Was looking for a vape shop that had the Cube nicotine free vape. Looked up in Google and found this awesome place just down the road and to my surprise the old building. Must be good luck. This new awesome place had what I was looking for, & then headed to the back, past the old stairs to the old head shop, which was off limits, for now. The back was incredible, there was so much stuff packed in there. I will be back to see stuff I missed. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and new thier products and suggested items that really worked like they said. My new favorite place to visit in Canton.
