Sunset lake smoke shop, Vape, Kratom, & Delta 8

This place is horrible and the staff is rude! Take my advice and stay the heck away and spend your hard earned dollars somewhere else. These one star reviews are for real folks. I came to this place faithfully and purchased cigars daily! Got a bad one and this rude 12 yr old the have that works at night called Megan on the phone and she was rude also calling it her store🤣 that’s a joke just like she is. I treated every employee their with respect but when they were challenged about a product or problem they got offended. The little boy on second shift told me I could go elsewhere and guess? I did and couldn’t be more comfortable dealing with mature people who know what cigars have a tendency to do is not be perfect all the time. You took my last review down but because I told the truth. You the owner should know what what type of people you have working for you.

I left the shop two hours ago after asking the employee to purchase coils for the Uwell Caliburn. When I arrived home I opened the box and the coils were built into pods. With everything I have experienced on this device the coils are normally separate items, l but since I asked for coils I thought the employee knew what to give me and that there was no mistake.

I filled the coil/pod with juice since you dont use a coil before placing juice into it and after thirty minutes put it into my device. It did not fit. Upon inspection the employee had given me something unrelated to what I had asked for.

I immediately returned to the store. Pointed out the mistake made by the store and politely offered to pay for half of the item since i should have not been so trusting.

I did this out a feeling of decency toward small business but the employee immediately told me that, yes id be paying since Id filled the pod.
I pointed out that the coil was built into the pod and that since i had brought my device in with me I had guessed that he knew what I needed when i asked fir coils sonce he seemed aware pf what he was handing me.

The employee said he had to get someone on the phone and when talking to “management” told them that I bought pods and filled one up, intentionally not making a note of the fact that I had asked for coils and was handed an item that has a non removable coil.

I would have been happy to look at what I was getting prior to purchase but have dealt with this young man on a regular basis And trusted his certainty in what I was being handed.

The main reason I write this review is how sickening it was that he tried to hide his mistake when speaking to management.

Photo 3: the reason I filled the pod is that there is a version of the pod for the coil that I asked for that is the pod and coil sold together. I trusted that this was what I had received by mistake and did not want to make a return drive to the store.

Thanks for the response. I came back in and bought some juice afterward typing the review but simply saying that a “bought some pods” without saying that they asked for coils blew my mind.

My #1 local cigar shop. Good prices, good selection, staff is always friendly and helpful.

I moved here a month ago to the Fuquay-Varina area and I am also an avid delta8-10 smoker. Flower and vape. This store not only has a absolutely great selection, but they have AMAZING employees. I come into the store 3-4 times a week now, definitely found my new spot. I literally feel like I’m seeing friends every time I go in, no matter the employee. I must give a huge shout out to Matthew tho! He was the first one I talked to here and has given me so much knowledge of the delta strains that I had no idea about. Thank you to all of the employees, but especially you Matthew!

I was in town visiting family and needed to get some more delta 8 and found this shop. That’s where i met Megan she is just awesome and very nice person. She was very knowledgeable about delta 8 and she helped me find the best delta 8 products that fit my needs. When i come back to the area again i will return to this shop. i’ll definitely recommend anyone that lives in the area that needs delta 8 come this shop and talk with Megan. Thanks Megan for all your help and keep being awesome

There used to be a really nice guy named Matt who worked here, he knew a lot about the different brands and devices and always helped me pick out the best vapes and juices for me to have the best experience, and I really appreciated that level of service. The guy there now the past few months (apparently the owner???) is extremely rude, pushy and doesnt know ANYTHING about vape, yells at you just for asking a question. Will never be going back

Excellent experience! Manager was kind, knowledgeable, and very professional. I will definitely be back. Good selection and fair prices. Clean shop.

Matthew is very good at his job, he meets the customers where they are and makes you feel comfortable asking any questions. His positive attitude and personality keep me coming back.

No stars is what I wanted to leave. I went in looking for a pod for a Nord 2. First the employee had to finish watching a video on his phone before helping me. Then I was as told that I would have purchase the whole package of pods,that he could not sell singles because of supply and demand?? First of all, I work in retail,I understand supply and demand right now. Second, wouldn't it stretch the supply out to sell one at a time? Just Sayin'.
B's had no problem nor did Up in Smoke. Huh!

I've recently moved to Fuquay from Cary and have never had as many faulty products from a store as this one. I'd say about half of the disposable vapes I've gotten here have malfunctioned causing them to overheat to the point of near explosion. I highly recommend going to another shop as I believe this one may be selling counterfeit products.

I'm writing this review because today I came in to purchase 2 disposable vapes, one for me and another for my mom, it's been about 3-4 hours since I left the shop and now both of them have had to be submerged in water to stop the batteries from exploding.
