Stopped in Modern Smoking Solutions today and was greeted with sheer friendliness from the moment I stepped inside. Nothing but great things to say about this place. I’m lead to believe the lady behind the counter was the owner, she was super helpful and available to answer any questions I had, she realized I was well versed in the vaping industry and didn’t try and push me in any direction or upsell me anything. Great overall experience and I will continue to bring my vaping needs to this place and this place only! If there were 6 stars this place would deserve it!

Dani (the owner) is awesome! She mixes my lemon drop & vanilla pirouette perfectly. It tastes just like a lemon-up Girl Scout cookie. I’ll normally spend 5-10 mins just hanging with Dani shooting the sh*t afterwards. She offers law enforcement and military discounts too!

Modern smoking solutions is absolutely the best vape shop in Central Virginia. The owner Danny, she is the friendliest, most knowledgeable, and genuine person I've encountered. Is there something that you need that she doesn't carry she will go out of her way to order it in for you immediately. Finding an honest business person in 2022 is almost unheard of, but thank you Danny for being incredibly awesome! Modern smoking solutions is the only store that carries "Angel juice" (Watermelon, Strawberry, Peach, Apple) #1 Recommended VAPE store!!!

After visiting several vape shops in this area, I finally found this place. They have a great selection of juice and devices. I ordered a Smok mod online, then I seen it in this store for less. It’s a great store with a good selection and a friendly staff.

Just lost a loyal weekly customer. For a couple of months I've came in and purchased flavor concentrate to mix at my personal levels, with my personally purchased glycol/glycerin. (I have issues with other brands, and found something that works for me, and doesn't irritate me.) Never had an issue, nor was told that concentrate alone wasn't available for purchase until I dealt with the manager directly. I was told that "I can't do that" and then drilled for the names of the people who did.
Overall, it seems that it was a lack of communication from management to the reps that run the counter, but I'm sure they will get the blame. Regardless, now there's no reason for me to come into the shop if I can't purchase strictly concentrate.
To the reps, sorry guys, don't let management get you down, you didn't know! You're great!
To the manager, have better communication with your team so a hiccup like this doesn't happen in the first place, and definitely don't say "What up boss?" to a customer as soon as they walk in, it's just straight unprofessional.
