Absolutely love this place. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. They have great products at reasonable prices. Everytime we are in elko we stop in to take a look at what is new. They are awesome!

Our store hours have always been 9:30 to 7:00 Mon thru Sat and 10:00 to 4:00 on Sunday. We are sorry that the hours are different on Google. We have edited the hours and hope they will be changed soon. Thanks for your understanding. The owners of 5J Music.

I love this place. Every time I go in I'm always treated with respect, and everything is explained in so much detail. Even if I don't buy anything I always walk out satisfied.

I had an odd experience in here. I'm obviously in my 50s, with more than a little gray hair. I walked in a few months back to check on the used LPs, of which they have more than a few, and on the CDs in the metal section. I may be oldish, but my musical preferences run to the modern, some of them bordering on the Satanic and definitely in the range of metallic and extremely heavy. Anyway, while I was scoping out the discs, each of the two ladies working there would come by separately to check on me every two or three minutes, asking me how I was doing and if I needed anything. After a while, I started to feel like a teen-aged boy who was being watched to make sure he wasn't shoplifting! In spite of this strange behavior, I ended up buying a couple of discs from the metal section and an LP that was in pretty good shape. It was just weird. I don't know, maybe they thought I was an undercover cop who was scoping out the teenagers buying bongs. Frankly, I don't care what people do in the privacy of their own homes, as long as they're not hurting anyone other than themselves. Like I said, it was weird. I was thinking about taking guitar lessons, but now, I don't know if I want to do that here....

Absolutely the best place in town for music lessons. I went in there for a guitar lesson and I learned more from the teacher than I could on YouTube. Definitely will come back for more lessons. Also, they have a pretty sweet assortment of posters.

I started picking up C.B.D. oil at 5J to fight my cancer, that I was told is terminal and nonoprative. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and cheer for me each time I come in for an update. So far I am betting this cancer and I believe it's their C.B.D that's doing it.

Friendly folks! They have some nice guitars and a variety of other instruments but most of all they have every form of CBD you can imagine. This is absolutely the best place in Elko to buy CBD.
